These are flip top end tables with storage !! One has a shelf. The dimensions for both are the exact same !! They're 34, ⅞ L x 17, ⅜ W x 30, ½ H. The total dimensions when the tops are doubled (one top folded onto the other) are 17, ⅜ L x 17, 3/16 W x 31, ⅜ H. To get to the storage, slide the top back. To hide the storage area and get it into two tops, flip the upper top over to cover the storage. To lock the top in place, put in the key and twist. You could also lock the top in place when it’s double (not flipped) !! The one with a shelf is great for plants, teddy bears, pumpkins, alarm clocks, lava lamps, salt lamps, etc. The flip top part for each are great for eating, multi-tasking things such as computer work and eating, drawing, writing and so on. You have the choice to use these tables as one top or two tops and they each have storage and one has a shelf and one doesn't !!
